National Palaces Painting Museum: A Tapestry of Ottoman Grandeur Unveiled

Under the watchful care of the Directorate of the National Palaces Museum, the palatial splendors constructed by the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century are meticulously preserved. A transformative policy by the Presidency, aimed at enhancing the museum experience, has seamlessly amalgamated the Harem and the Painting Museum sections into a singular, comprehensive ticket for Dolmabahce Palace. As of 2023, this all-encompassing ticket is priced at 650 Turkish Liras, approximately 25 USD.

Embark on a journey that transcends time, as tourists now have the privilege of witnessing the opulent tapestry of hundreds of exquisite paintings that once adorned the walls of Dolmabahçe Palace in the 19th century. What was once a two-hour Dolmabahçe tour now unfolds into a captivating half-day exploration.

National Palaces Painting Museum Visiting Hours and Regulations:

The National Museum of Painting welcomes visitors every day from 9 am to 5 pm, except on Mondays. In alignment with Dolmabahçe Palace regulations, capturing videos and photos is strictly prohibited for security reasons. Equally, a gentle reminder cautions against touching the priceless artworks, protected by a Central Alarm system.

The ambiance of the museum dictates a serene experience; hence, loud guide narrations are restricted. For group narrations, a headset is mandatory, ensuring a harmonious exploration.
